Probalby should, but never learned that as a habit. However, I have cleared all the empty frames, saved and closed the document, re-opened it, added a new page and there was an empty frame at the botton of the document. I have been able to reproduce that behavior several times. It just dawned on me to look for an empty frame on one of my two master pages which I always set upon adding a page. It would seem that might be a connection there.
