Hi all once again,
I thank all who've suggested enhancements for the Remind Me Where app. The latest beta can now be downloaded from the address below: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11745142/Remind_Me_Where.wepm I'm releasing not because it's at a particularly good point, but I just felt like a new release would help those who are enjoying it. I've listed the new features in the standard help dialog, and the help for the app has been moved into a very large HTML file to make it easier to read. You can access this via the app's menu. I've spent a lot of time on the help, so please do tell me if anything isn't clear, or needs more attention. This app is based on location, and Google+ maps and places. It helps you find places near to anywhere, of any searching criteria. It can give you driving or walking instructions to get there, and if your city has its mass transit on Google Transit, it will also include amazing transit instructions (down to detailing how many stops you can count before leaving the bus/train, along with all the other information). It will give you walking instructions to get from your starting point to the stop, and if you must transfer, to get between stops. It has an additional set of capabilities for those who have a GPS receiver connected to their laptop (and many phones will act as a gps receiver). I keep planning to enhance these capabilities further. Please do let me know of any problems, and your ideas for new features. You'll really have to try it to see how much it expands your world for you in your city. Enjoy, Chip -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
