Rick, I believe The .overlap property is empty unless you set your app up to be started as being associated with a program. Even when you do however, the window which opened when it started could have closed, or just not be the active window where all the action is, so it's better to grab the active window and put it into a variable and use that for your events, when you're sure the window you want is active.

Here is the only output I get, thought I would post it before calling it a day. ConnectEvent ClientInformation.Overlap, OnChildFocus, OnChildFocus Test Line From Top Second test Line myMSAAEventSource.Process = ClientInformation.ApplicationProcess ConnectEvent OnStateChange ConnectEvent ClientInformation.Overlap, OnChildFocus, OnChildFocus And that is all folks, I played in Visual Studio for several minutes but this is all I got. There are many other events and event handlers most tied to the MSAAEventSource. Not sure what to look at next but will sleep on it and give it a try tomorrow. Perhaps something in one of the xml or ini files or something in the MSAA stuff, guess I will peek at the Object Model again to get some ideas. I really don't want to install and slog through some of the DOM tools, the VS DOM is googoo stuff to wade through for a blind person. Besides, I don't think WE will let me do anything with UIA if I do find anything using that particular tool, don't know but it didn't use to.
