Hi Guys: Ok: This is Aarons script and hass all the plumbing in place as far as I can tell - again not a vb script guy and WE Model novice at best. It is a rather complex script and somewhat lengthly or I would just post it up. The script is automatically loaded and associated with Visual Studio 2013 or it would not be firing events at all since it filters on the ApplicationProcess..I checked the ApplicationProcess Properties and they seem to match up with what I have seen in the code base so far. Before I start mucking with the code base I will try and do some fundamental analysis of the DOM, sigh. Are there any new tools for this out there you guys are using? Also, I am running a 64 bit machine so not sure if 32 bit solutions will work. First step given the situation is to determine which events are actually firing behind the scenes including system events. Is MSAA still working to expose these events? Is UIA firing and giving better information? As Chip mentioned since I am getting nothing firing there might be something like a filter, the process?, that is not matching up allthough I cant find where or the main window is going away or something but I need more granular results outside the script itself to determine these actions. OK, although I have said I would never do it again, I guess never say never, I will dig deeper into this script. Aaron put plenty of work into it so there is no reason to ReInvent the wheel me thinks. So which tool(s) are currently being used for blind folks to analyze the DOM or Accessible DOM or whatever? Even when you do however, the window which opened when it started could have closed, or just not be the active window where all the action is, so it's better to grab the active window and put it into a variable and use that for your events, when you're sure the window you want is active. Here is the only output I get, thought I would post it before calling it a day. ConnectEvent ClientInformation.Overlap, OnChildFocus, OnChildFocus Test Line From Top Second test Line myMSAAEventSource.Process = ClientInformation.ApplicationProcess ConnectEvent OnStateChange ConnectEvent ClientInformation.Overlap, OnChildFocus, OnChildFocus And that is all folks, I played in Visual Studio for several minutes but this is all I got. There are many other events and event handlers most tied to the MSAAEventSource. Not sure what to look at next but will sleep on it and give it a try tomorrow. Perhaps something in one of the xml or ini files or something in the MSAA stuff, guess I will peek at the Object Model again to get some ideas. I really don't want to install and slog through some of the DOM tools, the VS DOM is googoo stuff to wade through for a blind person. Besides, I don't think WE will let me do anything with UIA if I do find anything using that particular tool, don't know but it didn't use to.
