Sorry, it's been a while since I've been close to my workstation.

I committed the workaround, but I'm still struggling with the Scumm
tools to investigate and find a better solution. Could somebody help me
again?

* The ScummVM --dump-scripts option still doesn't work for me, and never
has. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. :( Can someone play some
walk/talk commands and dump the scripts for me?

* I tried costview, but I found neither the matching palette block nor
the default.pals. If I try random bitmaps for a palette, the image
display is all black. Where do I find Hoagie's palette?

* I tried an additional head limb for ensign Zob, but it seems you can't
turn limbs off. Hence, the talking anim was still displayed during the
walk anim. Does anyone know a way to enable/disable a particular limb?
Or should we try using 2 different costumes?

* In the docs, I stumbled over the setActorWalkScript() and
setActorTalkScript() functions. Are those used in any game? How do I
search for specific opcodes?

* I think the key to the problem are actually the calls to the talkStart
and talkStop anims. These aren't scripted, but issued internally by the
engine. If we're desperate, we could add some debugging printout to the
corresponding ScummVM functions. Any tips on that?

* Last but not least, I think we should release the game, so interested
Scumm experts will hopefully stand in line to solve the problem for us.
;) What's still missing? I'll try to fix it.

Cheers,
Gerrit
