Sorry, change that "nearly every" to "many".

GNU classpath uses it.
libstdc++ (from g++) uses it.
libgnat (from gnat) uses a sigltly modified one (due to some
Ada-specific problems).
The gpc runtime library uses it.
libgcj uses it.
libgcc uses it.
the mudflap library uses it.
the ssp library uses it.
