I would have to agree with Mr. mikie!'s comment that Nate is pretty
flashy on diary and LP2. But we don't really know what kind of lines
Jeff could have written if he was there from the beginning of writing
HIFTBSO. But I don't think that Nate's lines really stand out, because
sometimes they're a bitch to tab because you can barely hear them!
(eg, Seven, Rodeo Jones, etc.) I thin Nate tried not to interlock with
the chords and notes but rather kind of mesh with the general sound
and feel of the song he was playing. But getting back to Jeff, is
there anyone out there with a Mommyheads CD? If anyone does, please
listen to the bass lines and at least get back to me, I'd be very
interested in what Jeff sounded like then.
