thoughts;
sunny day, if signed would play more shows, hopefully. how can that be a bad
thing since many on this list have only seen them a handful of times if at
all. signing would help the band make "better" albums by letting them do
things that helped them get signed, i.e. make great songs that are not
universal but speak to some souls that are smart enough to but their
recordings. chris thompson would get paid more for the use of his paintings.
dan could buy more chickens, or onions if he's vegetarian this is all if the
record company gives them money.
earlier this year some of the big heads in the music biZ handed out
pink slips to a SHITLOAD of bands. Primus, who really hasn't done anything
musically great in five years got dropped. now i know hardly anyone on this
list listens to primus, (i don't), but you could buy stickers and shirts at
musicland and sam goody for gods sake. the huge bands eventually aren't so
big. korn will pass. emo will not take america by storm as it shouldn't.
don't blame nirvana, a group of olympia punks that wrote good rock songs.
blame bush for coppying the sound. blame days of the new for reminding people
of alice in chains. blame the malls, blame fox undercover, hell, blame the
illuminates and the masons, just dont hold anything against a working band
that wants to put out good music.
have some real estate
