I agree...many people lump Deftones in that Korn/Limp Bizkit category and
pass them off, but Deftones are really really different from the
afforementioned bands. It's not typical tough guy crap...there's a lot of
melody going on in their songs. Another band that does that metal/melodic
thing oh so well, is GRADE...if you haven't heard Separate The Magnets, I'd
recommend checking it out.
