Hey there - I didn't realize how much of a response I'd get for that one...
I don't idolize SDRE, hovever, amidst all the crap that is played on radio
and MTV, they are real, both lyrically and musically. I think, just from
listening to their albums, that they work very hard and take pride in what
they do. I like that. And hey, I like the evolution their music has taken.
The worst thing a band can do is not evolve. Humans would still be picking
lice from each other in the jungle if people didn't evolve. I see that in a
lot of music today.
Whoever asked me if I lived in Boulder: yes, unfortunately for 8 months.
What a bunch of weirdos. Sorry to anyone who likes it there, no offense met.
Two good things about Boulder: SDRE played two shows there on that tour,
and unlike where I went to school in upstate NY, the women are in shape.
