Welcome.
I absolutely agree with you 100% and was shocked to find that people were
not backing HIFTBSO. If I had to place their albums, that one would
definitely get the grand prize, with Diary second, the live album third and
LP2 last. Don't get me wrong, LP2 is still a strong record, but by
comparison, it definitely feels more lacking in intensity and cohesiveness
than HIFTBSO. I wonder how much politics plays into people's opinions on
that issue, instead of just unbiased listening. To me, it seems that the
evolution is clear, especially after LP2. If I want to sit alone in my room
with some candles and paint or something, it's all about HIFTBSO and OK
Computer. Hell, yeah.
It's nice to hear a kindred opinion.
