Finally, when my friends make fun of me for playing the drums and not a 
"musical" instrument, I can say that I did learn something anyway...
    if you're still with me after that, I pretty sure this is the definite 
answer to the Ocean.  6/8 time.  There it is, woohoo! The eight on the bottom 
    means that an eigth note gets one beat and the 6 on top means that there 
are 6 of those eigth notes in one measure.  This is why every 6 
    beats you hear the prominent, or bass, sound.  The reason the song has 
that weird triplet feel is because of the compound time where the 
    bass and snare are divided into 3 beats each instead of the usual two.

    ...on an end note I could care less about production and just listening 
to the songs "one" and "the ocean" i can tell the album is going to be great.
