as far as the whole "no smoking" policy: i was fortunate enough to have all
access at the philly show during the "How It Feels..." tour, and Janna
Williamson and i had to sit on the back balcony when we were hanging out
because she was smoking. she said "Dan is an avid non-smoker" and pointed to
a portable air purifier sitting in the corner of the room that the balcony
was connected to. i guess dan just doesnt want to deal with a huge cloud of
smoke from the audience.
but sometimes its the venue's decision too.
