AHEM.
No specific offense to you intended, but I'm tired of receiving emails with
this subject header.
So, for the 100 billionth time.
SDRE are skipping EVERY city they played during the Summer tour. The goal
here is to hit markets that haven't been hit already.
No Boston? They played there this summer. No Vancouver? They played
there this summer. No Pacific NW? They played in Seattle, Portland, and
Vancouver this summer.
Floridians are the only ones with license to complain. SDRE wanted to play
there, but couldn't get any shows booked.
But, just in general - bands can't play every city on every tour. It's
just not going to happen.
And me? I live in Atlanta. You know what I'm doing? I'm making every
effort to drive to either Nashville or Memphis. And if I can't? I've
already seen them twice this year, and there's always the next tour.
If they change their minds and repeat a few cities, count your blessings.
But don't sit with bated breath waiting for it to happen.
