since i originally posted this message i'm going to respond. i really do
like the rising tide. it is a great cd. it just doesn't have the feeling
of the old albums, i'm not just talking about diary. i'm talking about lp2
and how it feels. even on how it feels songs like pillars i could just
feel. that isn't the case with the rising tide. they are great songs but
they aren't an experience, they don't make me "feel" anything. i'm not
trying to take anything away from the songs, i just miss the emotion and i
hope sunny day gets back to that. if anyone feels something from the rising
tide i'd like to know what songs. i'm not trying to rip the album at all, i
really like it. i'm just making an observation.
