I found something that kinda amused me the other day at my local music
store. Well, even though I have all the SDRE cds, I always still check in
the section for no reason. I don't know...I guess I'm hoping that they'll
have something released BY THE BAND that's extremely rare or something, but
I know that that will never happen. But anyways, I was looking in the
Sunny Day section and I came across a CD called "Unplugged and More". It
had the new promo picture of SDRE (the same one that's on the new black
shirt and the tour posters) and the tracklist was something like:

     Asleep Under Last Weeks News
     Chewing Gum
     Damien Dreams
     etc....

The point of my story is that some bastard got money from selling that
homemade CD to the record store. The store was stupid enough to buy such a
cheap rip. And also, ALL of the songs on the CD were Jeremy's solo songs,
so they shouldn't have even put Sunny Day Real Estate on the cover. Some
people just confuse me. But I think that people should stop trying to make
money off of other people's stuff, especially when you can pull up an FTP
or Napster and get every one of those songs for free. Thanks to the people
that believe that the rare stuff by the greatest band should be available
with ease to anyone who wants to listen to it. It's good to know that
there are still some honest people out there who aren't just looking for
ways to make a buck off of other people's creations. Peace

P.S. And if you feel guilty for downloading a song by SDRE for free off of
Napster that you can't get anywhere else, then send the band some money.
I'm sure that they won't mind. Heh.
