untill the last few weeks, i hated trt.  except when i was listening to it,
and except for the ocean.  i could NEVER say anything good about it.  i
thought jeremy sounded like horse shit, and that the music was about as lame
as sunny day was capable of.  but then id listen to it, love it, stop
listening, and start talking shit again.  i cant explain what happened, but
it just recently clicked in my head, as an albulm.  its a great albulm, save
for tearing in my heart.  television works...but it seems like it shouldnt.
who knows what jeremy means by the stupid lyric in one.  but i know, i know
he means something.  and jeremy and dan have bolth said that the write lyrics
open to interpretation.  that you can get what YOU want from the lyrics,
while they still say what THEY want.  thats a fucking beautiful thing.  and
i'll admit that everything and everyone and in the end we all are one isnt to
high on the list of great lyrics.  or on it.  but there is some really great
music on that albulm. take killed by an angel.  if you dont like it, i cant
persaude you to, but it is a great song.  it kinda...elevates you.  its rage,
expressed through the musical tightness that is TRT, ground out and accented
with jeremys....wierd TRT voice, is fucking beautiful.  and snibe.  a song
with hooks?  sunny day?  what?  but fuck the hooks in snibe.  the chours in
snibe is one of the best ive ever heard.   they actual words, who knows what
they mean.   (although i always get a 1984 immage when i listen to that song,
who knows.)  they paint the picture of what he's saying.  thats really,
really hard.  i can't name many songs that can instill images into my mind
that surpas the actual words.   the ocean, no one can fuck with that.  i
mean...this is a great albulm.  and seriously, where else could they have
gone after how it feels?

im done.

dan.
