We deployed our first app with hostingrails.com, and I agree that their support has been great. We setup a low cost plan, and are going to be upgrading to a VPS or private server soon though, since the performance is a bit laggy but all in all it's been a good experience. I suppose if we weren't trying to push the server as much it'd run smoother. :P
