Not to mention the security risk by opening up your home firewall to bots is a huge risk given home routers are no where near comparable to business class hosted solutions, plus if your production box is compromised your home windows/mac machine is not far away. Do most people set up your own boxes (rimuhost, slicehost, Amazon EC2 etc) or use a rails specific hosted solution (hostingrails, Joyent, etc)?
