I've been making progress. It will be sexier in a month, though. Right now, I've got a user-modifiable list view working: from a starting model, it lets the user pick a field from any related table (by any number of joins), and add them as columns in the list. By the meeting, I should have a moderately interesting end-user query capability as well. None of it *looks* sexy, but the capability is nice. I'm working toward a much more end-user modifiable application than normal. I've also got a user interface idea or two that might be interesting. I guess I don't need to save up the whole project for a big reveal: I can just show it for five minutes or so at each meeting as I go, if anyone's interested in that. Maybe I'll show it if we aren't overrun with potential things to see. Otherwise, it will be much more impressive in a month or so. :-) PS I own the "framework" parts of the application I'm developing, and I intend to release that code once it's a bit more stable. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
