Hey Patrick,
  Have you tried going back and checking if one of the old recording
still works?  I'm curious if its really an update issue or if it is
something in the recording.  I know you had it working before, but I'm
betting you haven't tried to do one since changing machines /
architectures.  Also, I have a box that is still on 10.5.2 so if you
know that used to work, I'll download the raw and give it a shot.
