I can't recommend a California accountant specifically, but I would definitely try to find one and walk through the process with them. I've done this twice in Georgia, once for an LLC and once for an S-Corp. The LLC I did by myself, and the S-Corp was done by an accountant. The accountant charged $500, $150 of which went to filing fees. So, for $350, he handled all the paperwork. I'd say it was worth every penny.
I think it's worth it to have a professional cross all the T's and dot all the i's. Plus, they'll be able to advise you better regarding the Nevada/Delaware/Wherever debate. Doing legal-type work by yourself is risky. Sometimes it's necessary, but I think incorporating is probably not a good place to DIY.
