Has anyone here had luck running CruiseControl.rb on a Mac with the subject configuration? When I run the latest CCRB release (1.4.0) the CPU maxes out at 100% and nothing happens in the terminal window. Running it with --trace doesn't give anything extra.
The CCRB docs say that it won't run on 1.8.7, but I've read blog posts where folks have said they run it with 1.8.7 (on Ubuntu, though). As a workaround I tried to revert to ruby 1.8.6 using Macports but something went awry during the build and it failed. If anyone has suggestions (I've tried 2 different approaches I found online) I'm all ears. Lastly, if there are any strongly-held opinions backed by some recent continuous integration experience that suggest there are better alternatives to CC.rb (Hudson?) I'd love to hear them.
