I got CC.rb working in OS X 10.6 after doing the full "update and
reinstall everything after Snow Leopard upgrade" Hokey-Pokey. Between
Matt's post (http://weblog.rubyonrails.org/2009/8/30/upgrading-to-snow-
leopard) and about a half-dozen others I was able to get things
working.

Some stuff I learned:

1. You have to upgrade MySQL to the 64-bit version but...
2. To do that you may have to install the version of Macports that
works with 10.6 and...
3. Uninstall and recompile a whole crap-load of ports for Snow
Leopard.
4. The MySQL pref pane that comes with the 64-bit download is a 32-bit
app but there's a replacement available for free here
http://www.swoon.net/site/software.html
5. The MySQL update didn't re-create the /usr/local/mysql symlink so I
had to do that manually.
6. Don't forget to move your mysql/data directory if you upgrade:
http://www.idolhands.com/ruby-on-rails/restore-rails-development-databases-after-snow-leopard-and-mysql-upgrade/

A bit of a PITA but everything seems to be working once again. Remind
me why I went through that...?

Cheers,

Chris
