The source code should determine compile flags for you. Just download
the 64 bit version of source code for your architecture.

Hi All,
I upgraded my Macbook Pro from Leopard to Snow Leopard and am having
issues with MySQL. It looks like I need to install the 64-bit
version. I've been searching high and low for the OS X MySQL source
code but I can't find it anywhere. You'd think it would be at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/
but if you choose the drop down for "Mac OS X" the options are only
binary files and dmg files. I'd like to use Dan Benjamin's
excellent instructions at http://hivelogic.com/articles/compiling-mysql-on-snow-leopard
for my install. Compiling MySQL has worked great for me in the
past but I can't find the source. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, Ken
