Tomorrow is Agile San Diego's 8 year anniversary, and we have an action
packed meeting lined up to celebrate.

To kick things off we'll be presenting the Agilist of the Year award,
followed by a lightening talk by Llewellyn Falco about a curriculum he has
been using to teaching kids programming using TDD.

Our main speaker of the night is Bob Dobson, known to some of you as Scrum
Pig. He's going to present a system called "Measured Team Accountability"
that involves having team members rate each other anonymously at the end of
each iteration. It promises to be something novel and interesting so hope
you can make it.

More details...

Highly functional Teams have members with strong accountability to each
other. In most business environments, particularly large, heavily regulated
companies creating the conditions for accountabilities requires leaders to
innovate. An excellent accountability system will have the Team members
participate in developing the standards, minimize the opportunities for
personalities to effect Team performance, and provide transparent results.
By establishing a functional accountability system, Team members loyalty is
focused on each other, resulting highly productive and occasionally
enjoyable work.

Bob Dobson is a software professional with over 25 years of development
experience in Government, military and private sector companies in a variety
of roles including lead developer, development manager, and director. Bob's
experience helping people automate business processes ranges from one man
water delivery companies to enterprise level applications for environments
of up to 350,000 desktops. He is the leading "scrumvangelist" on the
Hewlett-Packard Navy Marine Corps Intranet and a Certified Scrum Master. A
Native San Diegan, Bob is a history aficionado, and is active his Church and
supporting his 3 children in sports, AWANA and Scouting.

This meeting will take place at The Linkery in North Park at 6:30PM. Please
note the slightly later time since we are trying to accommodate folks
dealing with traffic coming from Sorrento Valley. Here are directions:
