Do you have any particular needs? I'm using paper_trail on a project, strictly as an audit mechanism. Perhaps I should use acts_as_audited, as I need to record who made the changes as well.
I see that because of that capability acts_as_audited has been put in the 'ActiveRecord User Stamping' area at http://ruby-toolbox.com, rather than in the 'ActiveRecord Versioning' area.
