I've been using it for a couple months now and it has been great! The overhead for setting up a merchant account for my side projects was just never worth it so I was making due with PayPal. The PayPal sandbox was always a pain. Switching to Stripe was really easy. Their API's are wonderfully designed and support is awesome too. If people are interested I can give a short talk sometime on my experiences sometime.
