Also Stripe doesn't have the reporting interface and the big UI (if you like that sorta thing) that Chargify does.
Chargify also has PCI compliant payment and checkout pages, so you don't have to use the API, but can quickly put up a page that customers can checkout at. Chargify works with your Authorize.net gateway and isn't it's own gateway. Stripe is very lean and just made for developers that is really meant to replace all the full payment gateway and merchant account solution like the Paypal options out there. Chargify is a more established company focusing mainly on the billing/recurring payments and is not a gateway or merchant account. Chargify interfaces with your gateway so you don't have to. Chargify also charges a monthly subscription fee and doesn't cut into your transactions. Other solutions you may want to look at: http://recurly.com/ and https://cheddargetter.com/ At StockTwits opted for Chargify, because we had a Merchant account and Authorize Gateway (we pay less fees than the 2.9% + 30 cents) and stripe didn't exist. Would love to use stripe if you could use your own Gateway, hope it's coming soon.
