Hey everyone, Tonight is our monthly hack night at Monk Dev ( http://www.meetup.com/sdruby/events/75115532/), and I'm looking forward to doing some hacking!
I thought I'd shout out a few of the projects being worked on tonight, and encourage anyone else going tonight to speak up as well. Feel free to post your projects to this thread to get a jump start on collaboration. Patrick and Etienne will be working on the twitter photo integration for the SDRuby application (https://github.com/sdruby/sdruby). I've got a project called factory_girl_upgrader that converts factory_girl v1 factories into the new v2 syntax, and I'll be working on fleshing it out a bit more. At another hack night I'd also like to work on converting ruby_scribe to use the new Ripper AST now that it's solid in Ruby 1.9.3. I know Ben Wanicur is working on an interesting project for musicians to help them transcribe tunes from Rdio, so if he's there I'll be trying to help him with that also. Once we all get settled tonight, we'll go around the room for introductions and see what everyone are working on, so we can hopefully provoke some collaboration. Aside from hacking and learning, I'd also be glad to help anyone with issues their having with their Rails projects. See you tonight!
