I'm a big DNSimple fan.  They are definitely more expensive than other
hosting (DNS Park, DNS Made Easy), but it's not "expensive" per-se.
The web interface is a real nice change after seeing some of the crap
that's out there.  But for me the most useful feature is the
non-standard record types, which let you do things like have a CNAME
equivalent for your top-level domain or have a hostname that is serves
up URL redirects for HTTP requests.
