SD Ruby, I've got an app whose users average about 68 years young. It also happens to be the very first Rails app I built, so it's far from great and certainly isn't as intuitive and user friendly as I'd like, and my user base is a bit tech challenged.
While the real solution is to gradually improve the application so it's obvious even to non-Internet savvy folks how to use it I'm in a bit of a crunch at the moment, both in time to devote to an overhaul and because the app is going to be getting a lot more usage soon thanks to an impending service contract. Can SD Ruby suggest any gems that provide a framework for user help functionality, possibly context-sensitive (by controller and action, perhaps)? Such a gem would allow me to immediately add some much needed guidance to the application. My google fu isn't strong on this one. The word "help" is usually a plea for assistance, not a description of the functionality the gem provides!
