*What to expect?* Ceatus Media Group is looking for a full-time Ruby Software Developer to work on architecture and implementation of an enterprise-level, internal web-based applications. There is a possibility to work flex hours remotely. *What are the challenges?* There are many, but to name some: Location, location, location… we develop various apps to deliver geographically targeted content to serve our clients the best. Social everything… we are building a platform to create an arena where common questions can be answered, patients can chronicle their experiences, follow others, and where doctors can interact with these patients and potential ones in real-time. Availability… services we developed are running on high traffic portals and available – always. There is a lot of work behind the scene to make it happen. Last but not least, we use an ever-growing enterprise management system in which statistics are processed, tasks are delegated, reports are generated and clients’ profiles are maintained. This application is integrated with numerous other apps via APIs (i.e. salesforce.com, Google Analytics, QuickBooks). It is constantly in development and needs to stay on pace to efficiently serve our employees as well as our growing amount outward facing applications. * What are the requirements?* The full-stacker has these qualities: X+ Years of Ruby on Rails development, Y+ Years of experience with OOP, Z+ Years of experience with relational databases (we use PostgreSQL), Experience with RSpec or any unit testing framework, Experience with APIs/web service technologies (REST/SOAP/XML/JSON) to name a few … Experience with front-end technologies including, but not limited to: CSS3, XHTML (pref.HTML5), JavaScript/AJAX, A good feel for friendly UI implementation and design, Ability to communicate easily and clearly, BS or MS in Computer science or related field preferred. *What do we offer?* Ceatus offers competitive salary, health insurance, matching 401k, Flexible Spending Account, paid vacations and holidays, and healthy and challenging work environment.
