My name is Josh and I've got a web app I really want to build. I've got a
decent understanding of HTML, CSS and I'm halfway through "Learn Ruby the
Hard Way" by Zed Shaw. Additionally I've finished a handful of Rails
tutorials I found on YouTube. I'm a serious noob, but I desperately want
to learn how to build web apps using Rails.
I've considered going to a dev bootcamp, trying to self learn but I think
having a one-on-one teacher and mentor is what would work best for me.
- *Is anyone willing to sit down with me on an ongoing basis and teach
me Rails while building out my app idea?*
- I currently have a B2B CMS/Project management app in development. The
front end is completely built.
- The app is basically a calendaring and pricing app for vendors in
the wedding industry. There is currently nothing like it built and
publicly
available.
- I'd hope to spend a few months developing the app and learning along
the way.
- I'm happy to pay by the hour/day/project - whatever is easiest.
If you're interested, please shoot me an email at [email protected]
and I can easily answer any questions you might have. I have a demo online
of the app which walks through it's functionality and should make pricing
this out fairly easy.
