I haven't done React (yet), but I've done Angular.js both in a Ruby on Rails app and as a separate app that connects to a Ruby on Rails API. The best way to use Angular.js is to have it as a separate app that interacts with a Ruby on Rails API. It sucks to have 2 separate and very different servers, but the code seperation makes life much easier.
I'm hoping to start playing with React Native soon, so if anyone has any getting started tutorials, feel free to share. Hyperloop looks really awesome! Thanks for sharing that link.
