We're meeting for another hackfest tonight at Active.com in Sorrento
Valley, so bring your laptop and your Ruby/Rails questions/knowledge.
The venue is locked down at night, so I'll wait outside the building and
take everyone up at 6:30. If you come late (and you're welcome to), give
me a call at 760.672.0832 and I'll let you in.
For first timers, hackfests are freeform programming get togethers where
you can ask questions, help answer other's questions, or give an
informal talk or demo about something you're doing. They usually last a
few hours; if you're new to Ruby, it's a good place to get all your
technical questions answered, if you're a long time Rubyist, it's a
great chance to talk about the latest and greatest things happening in
the Ruby world. Admission is free, of course, and I might even bring
drinks this time. =)
