This is for anyone out there who has experience w/ _javascript_-based trackers. Here's the idea for a fairly simple conversion tracker: Build an app with a simple REST API which allows access to add new visitors. On the client-side, they'd include a _javascript_ file which would act as a REST client so the end-user wouldn't have to do it themselves. The _javascript_ file would actually be a file within the hosted app, and probably be driven via rjs to allow for dynamic variables and such. Anyone have any ideas on a better way to approach this... or any tips they want to pass along? |
