Well, actually it *can* hurt. It takes time and effort to try out
a new
language or package or platform.
I agree with you. Ideally it'd be more than "a few weeks", and there
would be someone (with an interest in Rails succeeding) there to
organize, lead, and keep things moving at a quick pace.
