Hey everyone,
As I'm sure you've all heard, Kevin Clark will be leaving us to work for
PowerSet up in San Francisco. Kevin is a great leader, coder, and
friend. He shall be missed!
Kevin has asked me to oversee the group after he leaves, a task that I
graciously accept. Moving forward, I hope to see more people at our
meetings, more people at our hackfests, and more code produced by all!
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our meetings, I'd be
happy to see a discussion. I want the meetings to be informative *and* fun.
We've got presentations coming up on November 2nd, so if you'd like to
present, post to the list and we'll see you on the podium! If you need

If there's interest, I'd like to make pre-presentation dinner at the
Rock Bottom Brewery (just south of campus) a regular event. It's always
great to get face time with fellow rubyists, and we never seem to have
enough time to just talk at the end of the meetings. I'll send a message
closer to the meeting date to coordinate.
So, if you're on the list but haven't had a chance to make it to a
meeting, this is a great chance to stop by, meet some like-minded
people, and learn a thing or two about Ruby, Rails, and related
technologies! Hope to see you there.
