[Sdruby] Payment system from Shopify

Does anyone know where to find information on the Shopify Payment Plugin or Gem? I can't seem to recall where I heard about it, may have been on here actually. Aside from the Shopify stuff, I think e- commerce and payments systems in general would be a good discussion.
What have your experiences been with payment handling/gateways, whether it be Gems, Plugins, etc.?
