Sorry - I should have bookended that. I have worked game projects,
without tests, and found them incredibly hard to stabilize. My
understanding of the industry's journals corroborates a general
suspicion here.

Switching - eventually - to Rails, with a ready-made testing layer
that I didn't even have to build, was a welcome relief.
