Of the $1.6 billion in revenue the Hitachi subsidiary pulled last year, 75% of it came from storage products while mainframe revenue accounted for just 5%. Upshot: Its storage revenue grew 55% in one year. The new version 0.9 was released for a 30-day public review period, after which the draft will be submitted to the Free Standards Group.
