Still, Hormel has decided not to buck popular culture and says it will no longer fight as aggressively to stamp out the derogatory use of the term spam. They only ask that when using the word to describe their luncheon meat, the word be capitalized so that the terms can be more easily distinguished. Perhaps a better differentiator is this: One you eat. The other you delete.
