This Week: In the forums
>> Search390 member IMS2CICS posted the following in the Developer forum and needs your assistance: "I want to implement deadlock handling in CICS - DB2 application. In case of a deadlock I want to rollback and retry the transaction. After certain specified number of tries I would send error message to screen. So if the deadlock gets resolved within the specified iterations no error would be visible to the user. Any clues on how to achieve this with minimum efforts?"

Tip of the Week:
So you've spent months developing your new JSP or servlet application on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 4.x, only to discover that once you've deployed it, or after you've started testing it, your application sessions are inexplicably timing out even though your clients (real or imagined) are still using it interactively.
