We send a message via MQ back to the client to start the next transaction. The client then sends a message back to start the next transaction. When the bridge exit is invoked with the new transaction, the brxa-startcode contains the value "TD" instead of "SD." How can we start the new transaction with the correct startcode? >> CLICK for Jose's answer: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid468792_tax288468,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= SEARCH390 DISCUSSION FORUMS | Developer Can you help with deadlock handling? Search390 member "IMS2CICS" posted the following in the Developer forum "I want to implement deadlock handling in a CICS/DB2 application. In case of a deadlock, I want to rollback and retry the transaction. After a certain specified number of tries, I would send an error message to the screen. So if the deadlock gets resolved within the specified iterations no error would be visible to the user. Any clues on how to acheive this with minimum effort?" Do you have an answer?
