Take heart z/OS and S/390 administrators. IBM Corp. has big things in
store for mainframe environments in WebSphere Application Server
(WAS) 5.0, which is expected to ship in August 2002. That's because
WAS 5.0 includes a couple of tools that could make it easier to
expose mainframe applications and information as Web services.
