The site has gone "banner-free in 2003," claiming that the banner ban will make life better for its users. Butlers do hate clutter after all! Instead, you'll see what's called "Branded Response and Premier Listings," where an unobtrusive selection of commercial sites that are pertinent to your search neatly appear. Jeeves doesn't do pop-ups either -- the butler did in those late last year.
