We understand that z/OS offers this feature in the communications server, but it isn't available under OS/390 2.10. The OpenSSH/SSL software is free but has anyone made it work for FTP? >> CLICK for Mark's expert response: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid510067_tax287555,00.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= HOW MANY 390 USERS HAVE MIGRATED TO Z/OS? | by Jim Schesvold Dear Ask the Expert, Do you have the percentage of 390 users who have migrated to z/OS? Of this percentage, how many have switched to z/OS 64-bit? Are there any migration issues to watch out for? >> CLICK for Jim's expert response: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid510063_tax292523,00.html Have other z/OS questions? During this time, a CICS address space had only one TCB. The latest versions of CICS have three and four TCBs. The major TCB when looking at CICS shutdown stats is the Quasi (QR-TCB). It is my understanding that you can determine how busy the QR-TCB is by dividing the accumulated CPU time for this TCB by the accumulated time the TCB was dispatched. If this percent busy is at 80% or greater, will there be performance issues? >> CLICK for Robert's expert response: http://search390.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid10_cid510020_tax289214,00.html ___________________________________________________________________ :::::::::: DON'T MISS THESE IMPORTANT MESSAGES AND LINKS ::::::::: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= FEATURED TOPIC | Migrating to z/OS with COBOL Planning on migrating to z/OS with COBOL?
