ASK THE EXPERTS
Oh those OS/390 e-mail blues
Question: Our mainframe sits behind a firewall and therefore does not have a real world IP address or e-mail domain name. As an anti-spam measure, some ISPs require a reverse lookup before accepting an e-mail message to ensure that it came from a valid IP address and/or e-mail domain. This test fails on our mainframe-generated e-mail to some ISPs because the origination information in the header will not pass the reverse lookup. Do you have any suggestions?

THE MISSING LINK
Sleep matters to your mind

Has your brain gotten its beauty sleep? Scientists in Germany have determined that your creativity and ability to solve problems are reset when you rest. They say that, while you get your z's, your brain keeps working on the problems that stumped you during the day. The right answer to a problem may light up in your head after eight hours of quality shuteye. This basically lends scientific credence to what you probably knew all along -- that you must get some serious bed-head before you can get your head on straight. (The Associated Press)
