The problem I'm having is that file names have date attached to the end (e.g a040429,a040430...etc) sometime there will be one file other times more, assuming that files on FTP folder correspond to file naming convention on MVS by using MGET: 1- is there a way to dynamically allocate file names on MVS while executing the FTP? 2- If two or more files were FTPd can I select one file at a time, decrypt it, GDG it, and then FTP the file to Unix? I'm not sure if i'm asking too much from JCL (my experience is more of App. prog.) but any hint or help is greatley appreciated ... thank you in advance." >> Read the rest of alitareo's posting and respond, click: http://search390.discussions.techtarget.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.ee83ff7/914 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= THE MISSING LINK | eBay misfires -- sends gun instead of gadget Guns don't play tunes -- not even Guns N' Roses tunes. So you can imagine how disappointed -- and shocked -- a 21-year-old Canadian was when he ordered an MP3 player through eBay, but received a .22-caliber Smith & Wesson instead. Woops -- a little too much bang for the buck! A pawnshop in the U.S. auctioned the player, but sent the gun by mistake. It makes you wonder -- is there someone else out there who ordered a gun, but ended up keeping a loaded MP3 in the house for protection? >> Click: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3703321.stm >> Want to hear more offbeat tales from the world of information technology?
